It's a good fit.

A 2800 would even make good use of a 7600 GT, X1650 XT, and 7800 GS.

Certain games would even show a big improvement with an X1950 PRO on that CPU.

sounds like it especially if youre running a socket A board im surprised a socket A can run DDR2 much less a DDR3 card i'd suggest no less than a 3800 AM2 for that kind of video card also are u talking the AGP or PCIE card? AND does your board support crossfire because that's what the 1650 is

1. They make AGP 1650's, this would be an AGP board.

2. You certainly do NOT need a 3800 to run an X1650 PRO ddr3. I've tested a 7600 GT with an Athlon XP 2500+. It was a good fit.
The 7600 GT is better than an X1650 PRO.

This is jibberish

Suicidekid your fine with that card. I can use a GDDR4 video card with my DDR2 system ram. Crossfire pertains only if you were planning to run 2 cards.

Different type is ram, with different speeds.
I would recommend getting the 2800+ processor and the x1650pro with ddr3, and your wow experience will just get better.
