Hi, I'm an amateur building a new rig with a few questions. I plan on using this computer for gaming, movies, music, etc. (for work as well, but those don't push the specs).

My current specs are:

Intel Q6600
EVGA nVidia 8800GTS 320MB
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R
2 GB Crucial DDR2 800 4-4-4-12
Cooler Master Centurion 5
Thermaltake 500W W0100RU

Questions:

1) Is my power supply sufficient to run this system? I looked up all the max wattage loads and there seems to be plenty of overhead, but other people buying similar machines are getting better PSU's. I'd really like to spend no more than $100 on a PSU, but I will spend more if I should.

2) I plan on buying decent speakers (Logitech Z-2300) but I'm not sure if the mobo's integrated audio will be sufficient. If I should buy a sound card, could you recommend one for under $50?

3) There is RAM at DDR2 667 for $90. Is this a better deal (given that quad cores need fast ram)? Can my motherboard even run DDR2 667? (It reads DDR2 800 on the specs)

Thanks for your help.
