So um... I got about 620 when I added that up... so I don't know where you got to 750 ^_^

Here's something I think might work well for your budget: (involves switching to intel, but that's a good thing, right?)

CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115014 E4400 2.0Ghz Allendale = $126

Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128050 Gigabyte P35 DS3R (Allows for upgrade to a quad-core if you'd like in the future... great Mobo) = $130

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119106 Centurion 534 = $50

PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153023 Thermaltake 430w = $40 (great deal, but you could try the one below if you plan to upgrade in the future)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103940 Antec NeoHE 500w Modular = $90 (I use this for my Q6600 with 8800GTS, so it'd allow for a ton of upgrading for you in the future)

HD (Same one you mentioned) $75

Optical (Same from your above post) $34

Memory (could use above ram, but for extra $10 you could get this below)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231098 G.Skill DDR2 800 PC2 6400 (slightly faster memory, still 2gb and only 10 dollars more) = $85

So that's 590 so far, and you've got Case, PSU, Mobo, CPU, RAM, HDD, Optical. (in that total I added the $90 psu and the ram I mentioned)

So you're 110 under your $700 mark and need a video card. The one you mentioned for 115 is nice, but I think if you went with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130062 GeForce 7600GT 256mb (great card, will play wow perfectly imo) = $90 (also has $15 MIR but I don't count those usually because I'm lazy)

So total you'd have 680 before shipping, probably slightly over 700 with shipping, but if you're not as lazy as me and do some rebates you'd be all set.

I hope this helps, I just think that going with Intel would be better for you both now and in the long run because like I said you can upgrade to a quad in the future, and whatever else.

Best of luck with your build!

Awesome, I wasn't trying to knock the video card you mentioned, I've got a buddy down in Texas that's got one and he loves it, I was just trying to save a few bucks for ya.

Good luck with your build, I don't think you can do much better for the money, I've looked it over many many times over the last couple months.
