Hiya Gang

I'm looking to get the above combination.
Not wanting to overclock too much, just want to take the Q6600 up to 3ghz.

I'm getting some 800mhz DDr2 ram to save cash, and an 8800GT G Card.

Any opinions for against this Mobo?

Cheers
DB

1 vote against if you do file sharing or LAN cuz the onboard gigabit network is pci, not pci-e. There's a performance hit. Then again, if you don't do either or you just surf the Web, download a few things here & there, the Pro board is ok. If you must get ABIT, get the IP35-E which has pci-e network.

I have a network connection to my modem, so all my internet comes through my network socket, i think!

I am not really bothered if i get an aBit or not. Just heard they are good...

Can you suggest any others in the P35 camp?

it's a good mobo

As for the PCI LAN as you can see it's~735Mb/s(91MB/s) which is waay faster than domestic LAN & it's faster than a single HDD can provide/handle.
For most people it's a total non-event but if you regularly do large transfers over a gigabit network & you use RAID 0 then it may have an effect.
