I did so. If its the bracket on the backside of the mobo you think of?

I felt I crushed the mobo when i thightened the screws, but went just fine. Great cooler :)

I know exactly what you mean. I had trouble getting all the screws tightened at the same time lol. I was alittle worried I was breaking something trying to get the 120 on.

no! your supposed too but do not do it - that sticky pad is imposible to remove!

i don't! -- remember to bend the arms a little bit back for more force and add losts of thermal compound since these heats sinks are always dished - or not flat!

@sadness20,
Truth; the sticky pad cannot be removed without ruining it. You might ask Thermalright for a new one.

@dragonsprayer,
Half an hour or so of lapping has my 120 eXtreme very flat, and consequently I am using minimal TIM. I spent about $12 US on an assortment of sandpaper- 220,400,800,1000 and finished with 1500 grit.
