Ok im trying to install raid 0 on my new 780i mobo. i have set up he array, enabled raid in bios, but when i go to install the OS i load he drivers off a thumb drive but it sais windows can not find a valid disk to install. any ideas on what to do?
Do you have your USB drive to be able to be seen as a bootable device, or have your board set to look for a USB device at bootup? If not, you might need to enable it, or find a floppy drive for the RAID drivers. Do any of these sound like viable options?
I will be getting my board withing a few weeks (I am upgrading with EVGA's promotion (if you have a 680i, $80 for a 780i)). I will be doing a RAID 0 on that, maybe by then you will have figured it out?
