e6400 wont clock past 3.1ghz

I have just noticed that my e6400 wont clock past 3.1 ghz. Im quite happy running it at this speed as its stable and a great clock, but whenever i put in 400x8 it reverts back to 390. I also tried 408x8 and 425x8 but it always reverts back to 390.

Puzzling? Eist and c1e are disabled.

Anybody got ideas? The system is perfectly stable at 3.1, so i would expect the cpu to clock a bit further

Its not budging lol. I think it migh tbe my motherboard, its not the best and probably doesnt like anything above 3.1
