I've been doing extensive research on LCD's these past few days and I can safely say the LG is one of the best 24" LCD's on the market. It has the same panel as the BenQ 24" with the same AUO module to decrease input lag and cut down on ghosting, something you won't have if you go with the Dell 2407, for example. I've heard ghosting on this monitor is a non-issue. Furthermore, it's notably cheaper than the BenQ panel.
I'm in the market for an LCD to go with a new system build in a few weeks and I'm currently deciding between the LG, Del 2407, and Acer AL2051W 20" panel for $200 on newegg. They are all non-TN panels but I would rather have the Acer due to the much lower price. The problem though, is I won't be able to purchase until 2 weeks later when I'm back in school so depending on stock and prices then, I'll have to see. Furthermore, I just discovered the Acer has been discontinued due to high production costs so the stock is limited. -_-
Anyways, the point of my rant is that the LG is an excellent monitor and one of the best. Note there is also a $400 Acer 24" on sale as well and it is also a non-TN panel. You might want to check that one out as well.
