I am buying a new system.
I've decided on :
Intel C2D E6750 (1333FSB)
Crossair XMS-8888 (1066)
XFX 8800GTS XXX

however, I have yet to decide on motherboard.
Given that I don't want SLI,
is going for the new P35 based mobos a good option ?

I have beed advised to go for a P35 based mobo supporting DDR2 memory.
so I need help regarding mobo.
Which is the best P35 based DDR2 mobo out there for perf/oc ? budget is 200$-300$?

Here's the cheapest and most affordable p35 mobo out there. It's has good OC'ing and fits mosts budgets at $106 shipped!

Now the DS3R has a few more options and goes for $137 shipped. Good OC'er and has most of the goodies.

There are other brands in similar prices, so you'll have to decide, but the Gigabyte mobo's have good reviews.

EDIT: Take the $194 dollar savings by getting the DS3L mobo and use that to upgrade to Q6600 or 8800gtx :)
