Hello,

At the moment, I have an ATI HD2900 XT video card.
I love it, except of the cooler noise. Actually it isn't noise at all, but too noisy for me..
So I want to replace it for a Thermalright HR-03/R600 cooler.

I have some experience (my current pc is custom/self-built), but I think this will be a bit more difficult, 'cause a video card is way more fragile..

So you guys think I could do the trick, or is it better (it's at least safer) to get it installed by my local computershop?

Not hard to replace the gpu hsf. Just follow the instructions that come with the new cooler. There are some screws to remove from the back of the card. Work on a flat surface with adequate lighting.
