I have a maxtor SCSI 250 hdd I am running xp pro 64 bit and xp pro 32. currently the hdd is set up C: 12.7 gb and D: 220 gb. I want to add more space to c. like split the drive 50/50. is this possible without loosing info?? If so how exactly could I accomplish this??

Thank you for your replies.

You will need to have less than 100Gb of files on D. Partition Magic will do this, but you should back up your data first. If you have a drive imaging product, you can attach an IDE HD that can hold your data. Image to the temp drive, then image back, but with new partition size.

I have 205gb available on D. I was wondering if I could do it with a lenox cd and if so a step by step walkthrough would be greatly helpful. I have heard that you can partition a non partitioned drive that way, but nothing about a partitioned drive and if you can change it. I cannot afford partition magic at this time.
