OK i did a search and couldn't find anything to help if there is, sorry for repeating. I got a new harddrive to replace my primary drive. I'm running windows vista home basic. Right now I have 2 SATA HD's a 320gb drive for storage, and an 80 gig for my OS and games. Is there a way I can install the new drive without having to do a clean install?

Register or log in to remove.

Download the free trial version of Acronis True Image.
(just google for it)
Use the software to format and partition the new drive, mirror an image of your old drive to the new drive, remove the old drive, reboot, that's all there is to it. The software is self explainitory and easy to use, works like a charm.
