Essential to replace cooling liquid at regular intervals?

I've got a Zalman Reserator 1 water cooling system that I haven't used for about a year and a half now. I've drained the cooling liquid into a bottle and stored it. Does the liquid need to be replaced if i want to use the system again or will it still work okay?

I think there won't be a problem if your bottle was good closed and stored in a good place too. To make sure, you can check the liquid's pH, normally you can buy the pH tester in an aquarium seller.

thanks everyone. I will check the pump.Perhaps replace it with something better since I wasn't really impressed with it anyway. :)

You might want to see if you can mod an ehiem 1250 pump to work for you. It will have alot of flow and a 2M pressure head to it. That will work alot better than the stock pump did.
