For the last two days I've been getting only SD video from digital
channel 24-1 (WNYC 25 UHF analog). In the past I have had normal video
and audio, although the transmitter atop Brooklyn Tech H.S. in
Brooklyn is probably at or below my -3dB bandwidth point and I've
occasionally gotten pixealtion (I'm in Nassau County with antenna
pointed twds mid/downtown NYC).Could someone in the area please check
whether they experience the same. Thanks.

Their picture is ok; but I also do not receive their sound. Using a
Samsung SIR-T150 STB. I am about 16 miles west of their location.
According to the FCC CDBS database, they are running 7.67 KW ERP from an
antenna 516 feet high. They used to be a good reference for HDTV before
9/11. Although they were not located on the WTC buildings, they went
dark shortly after 9/11. Since they returned to the air there has been
only poor quality SDTV; quite a contrast.

Thanks for the feedback. What you say is interesting because there was
a period from when I first got my SIR-T350 about a month or so ago to
about two weeks ago that I was able to get picture and sound, althogh
with some occassional 'pixelation'. A signal level check both then and
now was three bars. WNYE, are you listening?
