problem at boot up

In examining my system error log, I found the following error message: "The IP address lease 192.168.1.100 for the network card with network address xxxxxxxx has been denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.1" The error only occurs at boot up. It has been occurring for the full duration of the log. The connection works fine and when I check the router table 192.168.1.100 is assigned to the PC. Should I leave well enough alone or take action here? Thanks.
