Hello i am new here and have a question on playing HD video from a FLIP video camcorder. I have a Compaq Persario CQ50 and when i attempt to play HD video it lags pretty bad. Is there anything i can upgrade or do in order to stop this lagging? thanks a ton for any help!

From the specs on that laptop, it should play your videos OK. Do you play them from the camcorder directly or copy them to the computer first? Try to copy them to the computer if you have not tried that, see if that helps.
You can also try to find driver updates for the video card from HPs web site. Since this is a laptop, not much you can do to speed up video playing aside from maybe re-installing a clean version of Windows and getting the latest drivers.
