Lotsa info on F6 in RAID drivers to install OS on RAID - BUT, I have OS on ONE SATA driver on my Intel controller (and want to keeep it that way). I've added two additional 500gb SATA drives and wish to MATRIX raid them (or RAID0) them for a video scratch array.

Can I now loaded the RAID drivers from within XPsp2? AGain, I'm not RAIDing the OS primary.

I'm just having probs figuring out the steps. Gigabyte P35-DS3P. I assume I can load 'some' drivers and then go change the BIOS, reboot, enter the CTRL-I setup and configure the RAID. Do the drives have to already formated? etc. Do I load the Intel Matrix Storage Manager first?

Just confused....Thank you

Drives will be formatted after raid is setup. If your current drive is plugged into the raid controllor then the drivers should already be loaded. If the drive is not on the raid controller then when you install the raid driver it shouldnt affect your main os drive.
