Hi all,

I've had nothing but trouble with my 680i since I got it. I'm looking for a rock solid platform for both the QX6700 and dual 8800 GTX's. I can deal with less overclocking if it runs stable. Any boards or chipsets that fit that description?

Thanks,
EC

Any of the 650i sli mobos will fit. Choose one with solid capacitors around the cpu and above three phase capacitors.

Always put a fan on top of the nb heatsink when ocing.

im using a relatively inexpensive MSI P6N SLI Platinum mobo. i've been able to oc my q6600 up to 2.8 ghz (from 2.4) but i don't think it's the mobo that is limiting my oc. So far, it's been a great board for me. some people have their gripes about the previous quality of msi, but really this board seems fine to me...
