Does anyone know how they would perform against one another, is it worth the updating of my system? I know I'd have to change the MB too.

Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Core2 Duo E6750 2.66Ghz
2x 1GB DDR1066Mhz
1x X1950 Crossfire 512MB GDDR4
1x X1950XTX 512MB GDDR4
500GB SATAII Raid
Sound Blaster XTreme Music
Enermax 620Watt ATX 2.2 Power Supply
Antec P180 Case
Vista Business

if u have 2x1950xtx , well in some games it beats 8800gtx , and in some games it loses to a 8800gtx, but i dont suggest going from 2x1950xtx to a 8800gtx, because the difference isnt worth it

If thats the rig you have now and want to replace two X1950XTXs with a 8800GTX, then I dont think its worth it at all. Unless you absolutly must have DX10. Those cards should last untill the time when game developers completly drop DX9 support and DX11 is out.

DX11 may be pushing it but if you have x1950xtx crossfire than definatly wait atleast until a complete revision comes out on both sides.

EDIT: The reason I asked what config you currently have is cause I was trying to figure out why you had to change your mobo.
