Front panel audio jack problems...

sup fellas, its been about 5 days after i built my computer and everything is running a-okay, except for the dang audio jack in the front. my motherboard is the z77 extreme4 and the case is the antec three hundred two case. do you guys have similar problems? thanks for reading.

did you actually connect the front panel audio cable to the motherboard header?

I have an Antec 300 and gave up on trying to use the front audio since the connectors are slightly recessed behind the front cover which makes it nearly impossible to fully insert plugs. No idea if they fixed that in the 302.

I "solved" that problem by getting a USB headset.

yes i plugged it in all the way and it still doesnt work...

as InvalidError suggested make sure the plugs fully in the audio jack

also check your bios and make sure front panel audio is enabled

it should be in south bridge configuration section--this might be in the advanced section of the bios
