Why does my screen jump around

when i play games on my laptop my screen jumps around and i tried using a mouse and the mouse pad what can i do to fix this

When you say your screen jumps around, what do you mean?
-- You have the laptop in your lap, and you get excited when playing?
-- The laptop screen flickers?
-- The game is in a window (not full-screen), and the window moves around the screen for no apparent reason?
