Dropped pc and now it wont work AT ALL

Hey,

Right basicaly

My pc fell off the table and now it says something about '' boot rom disk failure insert installation disk''

I really have no idea whatto do as when i try and install windows vista it cant find any drives/partitions, i really have no idea what to do anymore

Please help me

make sure the CD/DVD drive is set up as the first boot device

Not very good at pcs, how would i go about doing that?

You need to open the PC and check the connections to the hard drive. You may have damaged it enough that you need to replace things. If you are lucky your drive is not actually damaged as that would mean your data (movies pictures and such) is gone.

If you have issues following this, bring it to a repair shop.

I doubt your issue is as simple as selecting the boot device in BIOS as you tried to install Windows again and it did not see the drive. You either knocked a cable loose or the hard drive got damaged.
