Xp error loading during installation

1.ran the cd
2.blue screen
3..sys and .dll files get copied
4.when it says windows restarts
blue screen of death appears. tells to check hard disk.
i have freedos insatlled and no other OS.

Try do format the HDD and do a clean Windows XP install. Or you could try a Portable OS and backup your data and then install Windows.
