Just out of curiosity, If you ever owned a Fujitsu HD, how long did it last, and does anyone still have a working one?

I ask this after going through 2 fujitsu HD'S on my dell laptop (they came with it) and I had an old 40gig Fujitsu that didn't survive tipping over and falling into my computer case, however I have dropped Western Digital Drives from heights as high as 4 feet, and they still turn back on (luckily). BTW: I am very careful with my laptop, no dropping / shock, I replaced the 2nd failed fujitsu drive with an old IBM out of an older thinkpad (circa 2000) and it is still working flawlessly today.

So from my personal experience I find Fujitsu hard drives to be the WORST, now what about your experience?

Thanks

I have a number of Fujitsu 2.5" drives, the oldest (20Gig) is dated 2001-10 , it has developed a rattle (if you shake it) but still works OK.

If I bought a 2.5" drive today I'd go for a WD Scorpio, faster, lower power consumption, stronger construction (IMHO).
