I have the ORIGINAL thermaltake bigwater cooler with a CPU block and 120mm fan and radiator. I beleive that it comes with 5/16 tubing -(which is hard to find, and restricts flow) Can anyone point me in the right direction for reducers that will let me convert to a larger tubing, (like 1/4in maybe). I might want to use it to cool my NB and SB on my EVGA 680i. Thanks!

I read some old reviews on it online: http://www.overclockercafe.com/Reviews/cooling/Tt_Bigwater/index.html and http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/bigwater/ which say its specs, but I don't know if I"m reading them right. I just want larger tubing, if anyone could tell me exactly what to buy that would be great. I wonder if this would work, but its for 3/8 to 1/4, and I think originally I have 5/16 http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2254/ex-tub-101/Thermaltake_38_ID_to_14_ID_Line_Reducer_w_Compression_Fittings_CL-W0047-COMP.html#blank

That won't be a benefit. Coming off a 1/4" line and then oversizing to 3/8" doesn't help. Your flow restriction still exists.

If you can't replace the nozzles themselves to something larger it's not a huge help to move up to 3/8" lines off a 1/4" nozzle line... it's just more spots to have a potential leak and won't improve flow that much since you are still restricting it.

ok that makes sense - I need more tubing though, for a new setup. By looking at those reviews, what size tubing does my setup use? I want to order some, but can't find out if it really is 5/16 or is it another size??

It says it takes 5/16" OD which is an odd size.

1/4" is 1/4" ID and 3/8" OD (6/16").

I would get like a foot of 1/4" from a hardware store and see if it'll work for you.
