I am wondering which card would be better for my setup -

P4 2.6ghz

512 Rambus

4x Agp slot (currently cradling a fx5200, BLEH!)

I know my computer's pretty old but i want to know which one of these video cards would be the best investment knowing that they wont be able to perform 110% because of my setup. (MOST cost-effective)

1 reason for the upgrade = I WANT TO PLAY WORLD OF WARCRAFT 1440X900 WITH HIGH SETTINGS!!

CHOICES -http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814102093 (x1950gt) $140

OR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130099 (7600gt 512mb) $125

OR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814150233 (7600gt 256mb) $130

OR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814102057 (x1650pro 256mb) $90

OR ANY OF YOUR GUYS' SUGGESTIONS!

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR GUYS' HELP!

A 1950pro would probably be the best choice for you:

Probably one of the best agp cards you can get.

The x1950gt is by far the best card of all 4, but you'd probably need a new PSU for it. If you have to get a new PSU anyway you might as well get an X1950pro. More than an x1950pro is a waste with that CPU.

#2 is the 7600GT 256 MB. With this one you don't need a new PSU.

The 7600GT 512MB is a 7600 GS in fact, memory clock 800 MHz instead of 1400 MHz, and it's weaker than the 7600 GT 256 MB. The x1650 is junk too. Avoid these two cards.

I would recommend a 7600GT 256 MB and another 512 MB of RAM. It's not worth doing more for that computer IMO, save your money for the next one. If you really need more, then x1950Pro+RAM+new PSU.

I'm not sure you'd need a new PSu for the x1950pro, just guessing you've got a 300W thing or similar. What exactly do you have?
