Hello all,

I have two routers WRT54GS. One is configured and working as a wireless router and I'm not using the other one yet.

My house is big and the signal of the first router doesn't cover it all so I want to configure the other ane as a access point, but without using cables (wireless only). Is that possible? I know how to configure it with cables but I don't have enough space inside the wall to install them. Anyone can help me?

:]

No, you need a wireless range extender not another wireless router.

Grumpy, thank you for the answer.

The second router here is not in use, so if it's possible to do with it will be better.

It's not urgent so I'm not going to buy a range extender or an access point, I'm trying to do it just because I have another router here not in use.

You could load DD-WRT firmware on the second WRT54GS and make it a wireless bridge. You would need to connect the computer(s) using ethernet cables to the second WRT54GS.
