Ok this is the first time I have tried to overclock a system I have built. I am using a MSI P6N with a 650I chipset (yes I know the 680 would have been better). The processor is a E2160 and is runningat stock speed. My question is what settings do I change in this boards BIOS and what settings are reccomended?

Ok that article is for a ASUS MB I have a MSI P6N and the names of things are different in it. What I am looking for are what settings in that BIOS and what they are called.

Thanks all for the prompt response

Ok I read through that whole link and did not see any "manual" or anything that would match up to the settings on a MSI P6N help me out here folks!

Yep have read through that too and I can't figure out how to set FSB speed or to increase the core voltage here is what I am trying to do. Basically I have a article that says it should be stable at up to 3.2 GHz and to do that to set the FSB speed to 355 and to increase the core violtage to 1.525. I have tried using their dualcore center software but can't get above 2.0 Ghz

You should actually learn why you change voltage instead of just reading some guide and doing it. Your chip might run stable at 1.35 or 1.4. You never know.

I have this same motherboard and am planning on overclocking the same processor. Could you share with me the instructions you found?
