Weirdness with the Radeon 2600XT, PSU problems?

Hey!

I have a 380 Watt coolermaster PSU and just bought a sapphire 2600XT. Bioshock works great, but in world of warcraft a few things happen:

When I enable anti aliasing the max fps drops to 21 regardless of whether I use 2*, 4* or 8* AA.
Performance in general seems much too low sometimes, not all the time for the 1024*768 resolution I play in.

Also when I try to overclock the card with ati overdrive, I get blackscreens @ 810 mhz (normal is 800) even tho gpu temp is still very low (around 40).
Blackscreens after which atitool resets my card and I go back to windows.

2 12 volt amps on the cooler master PSU, one 10 amp and one 12 amp.
I have one HD one DVD player.

should I buy a new psu?

the new HD2X00 series doesn't perform well at all with any anti aliasing so what you are experiencing is normal things should improve with more driver releases.

that would seem weird, (unless its a glitch whereby it just applies the same amount of aa regardless of what you set it to which would be odd) but I wouldn't imagine it would be a PSU issues unless you get artifacts or random restarts

Hmmm yes that could be an option of course.
I did hear somewhere that performance issues can also be result of a PSU problem, but I would really like to be sure about this before I spend 100 euro on a good PSU.
