I've been told that installing a Sata drive/HDD will not work on Windows XP SP1 , so if i buy a OEM of Windows XP SP2B will i be able to install my drives smoothly without floppy.
Never had a problem install OEM XP SP1 on a SATA. Prior to SP1 I believe you had to install a SATA driver during install, F6 when asked, but this was corrected with SP1
