Ok, sorry for taking so long to get my webcam drivers reinstalled (I don't use the thing too often, and setting up after a reformat just sucks....)
My copy of the Collector's Edition is number 10,439 out of the only 62,000 ever produced in the world. I'm not budging one penny on the price, it is $50 plus whatever shipping you want. If you're the type of person who would go after an original painting by Van Gogh for example, I don't want my Collector's Edition anymore, you probably won't find one for sale anywhere else.
I like rpg's but I can buy it cheaper on ebay. It sells for about 10-20 USD on ebay. Also, most people just want the game and dont care about the extras.
Well......... :-S I saw the bidding price on Ebay start at $10 and it is just going to go up. If you don't want the extra's you may as well get the regular non-collector's version.
I just don't want to give up something of such limited existence (only 62,000) unless I get a good deal. HeartofDarkess told me collector's video games don't appreciate in value (like a Babe Ruth baseball card would), but I don't know
62,000 copies isnt rare. Now if their was only 10 in the world, fine that is rare. Most people want to play the game, they dont care about the collectors editions. Computer games go down in value faster then cars. Fine, hold on to it, it will be worth even less. Im sorry, you arent going to get 45 for it.
I have some computer games from 15 years ago! They must be worth alot. I'm willing to trade you. I'm not trying to flame but be realistic, it has been 3 months and no bids.
Well I don't think the game is comparable in value to his paintings, but....... there are some AD&D freaks out there that have their entire houses decorated with "modern" art. I'm sure there are fanatics out there who might feel that way. I'm just trying to cater to them ;-) I guess this forum isn't the best place to do it
Just for some info. An UNOPENED collectors edition copy sold on ebay on $34.00. Another copy is there for a buy it now for 20.00. here is the link for the sold one.

Alrighty I think I am starting to get the message *looks a bit embarrassed* I guess it is not likely I'll find that freak out there that is willing to pay say 50 dollars for it. If an opened copy is going for 34, I'll sell mine for $30
There is still one collectores edition on ebay for buy it now for 20.00, so 30.00 is still high. Most ppl just want to play and dont care about collections. Then again some old Atari cartridge games go for 500.00 on ebay.
I would suggest selling it on ebay with a 50.00 reserve. You might get it. Ebay is kinda funny, I sell alot on ebay, sometimes I get incredible selling prices on things. I mostly sell war board games. This is not a flame just a suggestion. Game on. I havent finished Baldurs one yet, hehe.
I also have some games if anyone's interested, all classics:
-No One Lives Forever 1 and 2
-Deus Ex
-Age of Empires 2
-Midtown Madness
-Opposing Force
-Rollercoaster Tycoon + both expansions
-Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
-Half Life 2 (ho ho! Just kidding!)
--Y'all know I be makin da money, big greens. Know why? Cuz I got a whole lotta cache.--
