I'm actually trying to build a spec for a friend.

He wants a gaming base unit for under £500.

With that evga motherboard I am able to stay under £500

This basically what i have come up with

C2D E6750
Corsair 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz XMS2
Coolermaster Centurion 5
Corsair VX450W
EVGA 8800GTS 320MB
EVGA nVidia 650i Ultra

Does this motherboard have any issues not that i am saying it has but i previously had a p5n-e sli which costs more and had issues with ram.

So i don't want to spend to much on a mobo just something that meets the requirements and is stable.

You should be OK, but I think the ram you picked is 2.1v rated. You may have to play some BIOS games with voltage to boot using both sticks. Try ram that runs closer to 1.8v if you want minimal hassles. You may pay nearly as much for what looks like valueram, but it will work just fine.
Kingston KVR800D2N5K2/2G is a good example.
