My Antec TrueBlue 480 PS is dropping below 5% on 3.3 and 5 rail

I've had this power supply for about 3 years. Recently Motherboard moitor keeps reporting 3.3 and 5 rails droping below 5%. How long should power supplies last? I'am not overclocking. Is my power supply starting to go on me? Is this one way for power supplies to start failing?

Thanks,

Peter

Falling out of spec is not a good thing. I would see about returning to Antec if its still under warranty. If it isn't, try reducing the load as much as you can, and get a new PSU as soon as possible. The last thing you want is for that PSU to blow, taking your motherboard and CPU with it.

I've already replaced the Antec with my backup FSP 530 watts. This looks solid. So far the lowest percentage was 97.5% on the 5 rail.

I will check with Antec. I usually get the Motherboard Monitor to report the error when I was playing Counter Strike with AIW 9800 pro.

Thanks,

Peter
