yep, this was done and recorded on a P35-DS3L + 3.2ghz E6750 + AC pro7... I replaced it with the thermaltake unit, and temp instantly dropped -2C and jumping to -3C back and forth (was 40C idling, now 37-38C). nothing else was done to it. I wish i know a way to record the before/after chipset temperature, should be highly dramatic.
