Hi all :hello:

This subject has properly been covered a 1000 times. If so I apologies.

I have just bought the below described component because I could get it at cost price; the time was limited, so I had to make a quick decision on which parts to buy.

I haven’t received the HW yet and cannot change my order.

Looking at the specifications of the ordered HW, I am wondering if the RAM that I ordered can run with the system setup?

Is there any performance gain with the pc85000 over the pc6400? (Or did I just waist my money on these RAM blocks?)

Your ram will run Fine ,

PC2 8500 vs PC2 6400 :
well , both rams are good , the difference between 2 arent noticeable, i recommend PC2 8500 IF u want to OC very much, (although there are many users who has OC'd their CPU very nice with DDR2 800 ram)
