Pioneer DVR-212DBK 8 pin audio connection?

I just received this DVD/CD writer from eWiz. It's a SATA device and it of course has a sata connector, a sata ppowere connector and (weird?) what looks like an 8 pin audio connector (4 on top 4 on bottom).

I've scoured the manual that came with it, even went online and looked at the manual. All it shows is the SATA connections and does not mention ANYTHING about audio or these 8 pins.

Anyone have this device and know which pins I should connect to (4 on top or 4 on bottom)?
