I managed to OC my e6750 to 3.760(470x8) 1.4v vcore in bios(1.36v in cpu-z), and some fsb and mch tweaking. I'm getting temperatures of 50C under load in speadfan 4.33, so i'm assuming it's really 65C, is this a safe temp to run 24/7?

gamer101, the following scale applies to your processor's CPU (Tcase) temperature and Core (Tjunction) temperatures, which is according to Intel's specifications, and is shown in the Core 2 Quad and Duo Temperature Guide: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/221745-29-core-quad-t...

Section 6: Scale

Scale 1: Duo

E6x50: Tcase Max 72c, G0 Stepping, Tjunction Max 100c, Vcore Default 1.350, TDP 65w, Delta 10c

-Tcase/Tjunction-
--70--/--80--80-- Hot
--65--/--75--75-- Warm
--60--/--70--70-- Safe
--25--/--35--35-- Cool

You can use Section 9 to Calibrate your temperatures, so that you're sure they're correct.
