XFX 8800 GTS 320MB Fatal1ty graphics card features Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS graphics chip clocked at 650MHz (1500MHz frequency for unified shader processors’ array), up 30% compared to Nvidia recommended clock-speed, as well as 320MB of GDDR3 memory operating at 2.0GHz, up 25% from reference frequency of 1.60GHz. Despite of considerable frequency shift, the new graphics boards still feature reference design and have been manufactured under supervision of Nvidia. Pine’s XFX picks up graphics boards capable of operating at higher clock-speeds and flashes appropriate BIOS versions to enable out-of-the-box overclocking.
I like the bit where it says "pricing unknown". It would be interesting to see where they position it. The Fatal1ty brand name should give them a premium...
They say it should sell quickly but as Randomdude says depends on the price i have had a look and can buy a very similar card today for £350 ish cant remember exactly think its £358 but never mind you get the point i hope(yes it is a GTX).

and yeah, that speed increase will put it about par with a GTX at lower resolutions on games with low texture requirements, but I can also see them trying to charge a premium for the brand, so a generic GTX for just a fraction more seems a much better deal
That was exactly my thinking too andybird i would much rather buy a card at stock than one thats had the bits tuned off of it even if it does cost a few more pennies.

I don't see the significance; being the fastest 8800GTS 320MB doesn't really mean a whole lot. It still can't compete with a stock 8800GTX.
I think i worked out teh stats a 8800gts would need on paper once ot technically "beat" a stock GTX, would be over 700mhz core thats all i rememebr though.
