ATI HD2900XT and FS2004?

Hi

I'm planning to buy ATI HD2900XT, so somebody with mentioned card, please post your oppinion.
I will use at the moment only FS9 with addon scenerys and aircrafts like F1 ATR72,PMDG B737&747, LEVELD 767.
The question is to buy ATI 2900XT or 8800GTS.
I read on some forums that 8800GTS have problems with AA/AF with FS9.

from what i have read flight simulator games are very heavily cpu bound.

the radeon x2900 xt with newer drivers is faster then the 8800 gts and can even rival the 8800 gtx in some games.

if there the same price or close get the radeon. its worth it.

If you are getting it primarily for Flight simulator, you may want to spend the money on a better CPU to improve performance as the game is heavily dependant on CPU unlike most other games. If you plan on playing other games, go for it, the card is supposed to be great with the new drivers.

does the P35 pci-e 2.0 capable?, arent you waiting for the tom pc build result opting for q6600 or e6750?

I prefer E6750 because it is cheaper and I don't see any advantage because right now only few applications supports multi core in right way.
But return to my previous question.
