This will be the second computer I've ever built. I built my current box around 5 years ago and a lot has changed since then. I used newegg to do all my research and select the parts that I think are good.

I will mainly be using this PC for gaming, but I also do some home recording from time to time (I have a decent sound card that I'll be transferring from my current box for recording purposes). I don't plan on overclocking anything initially, but may do so in the future.

I mainly just need your general thoughts on this setup. Is there anything you would change? Any help is very much appreciated.

A few questions I have:
-Will the built-in ethernet and sound card on the Gigabyte board be sufficient?
-Is it a good idea to go with a Quad-core CPU? I've been told that they're not very necessary right now.
-How can I tell if the Gigabyte board has the appropriate connections for the inputs on the Coolmaster case (e.g. USB, Firewire, Audio)?

As g-paw said and go with an e6750 instead of e6600. The e6600 is older tech that costs more and doesn't perform as well.

With those changes, I'd rate it 9/10
