Hello,

My real name is Milosz and everytime I say it people either ask me whether they said it correctly or can I spell it out for them... They never get it right anyway... Since I started college I told people to call me Milo which is much better but I wanted to ask is it fine to use Milo on documents, orders etc? I am still gonna use my full surename no matter what.

More about : full milo

Personally, I believe that the name that was chosen at birth for me should be something I must be proud of.

However, when our origins is put into context of other cultures it might become hard for these cultures to pronounce our name for example.

The issue I have is that the difficulty in pronouncing someone's name can be down to pure laziness/contempt/disregard in learning something different. In extreme cases, it might be justified.

I tend to work at it in pronouncing someone's name correctly - especially if they will form part of your daily life. It shows respect for the other person.

So in your case, Milosz isn't that hard to pronounce and I wouldn't opt for a short hand version at the convenience of others. Close friendships can allow that, but for everyday repeated use I'd prefer my real name.

But that's me.

Use your full name. More professional, though you can allow people to use your nickname in an informal setting. On documentation though you should always use your full name.

Much like the last reply..

You can legally use any name you want so long as it is not used to gain any form of deception. What I would say is that as an ex exams officer just make sure you use the same one on everything. I had to get names changed on awards for people as one module in one name and another in a different one = no overall award.

Best to use what you were given and treat it as a nickname. I use the shortened version of my name but all my certs and docs are in my full name, including the embarrassing middle one..

Good morning Chimp.

I have numerous names, and supporting documentation too. Which of them should I use when setting up a fracture clinic in Manchester?

Hope you can help.

Tom.

Tom,

How does it sit with you that Liverpool might be government owned in the next 8 weeks?

Do you like Chinese?
Do you like Indian?

Best Regards,
Vok

PS: Good to hear from you!

Good morning Tom

I would like to order more expensive fertilizer for my wilting money trees. Can you please let me know what name you will be using for this transaction?

Hope this helps.

Good afternoon Thomas.

I thought the limits of your medical empire extended only as far as your special home pharmacy services and growing 'health club' empire? Surely breaking and entering is a more natural home for your genetic inadequacies than breaking and fixing?

Regards.
