none of the above...

I am about to order :

Coolermaster Hyper 212

review at: http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2206

or

http://www.anandtech.com/casecoolingpsus/showdoc.aspx?i=3141

is cheaper and a better cooler than the ones you mentioned :sol:

or if you want one that cool motherboard area too, go for the Thermaltake BigTyp 120 VX

review at: http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=8757&page=71&search=thermaltake

is also better than any of the ones you mentined too at a good price ^^

have just finish reading a crazy number of reviews in preparation for my new build.

Good luck with your overclocking!

hehe - sorry for yet another reply - it won't let me edit yet, maybe too new here...

just checked on price of AC Freezer 7 Pro - it is cheap, but is a poor cooler in ther reviews I saw it in...

the difference of 5+ deg even at low load temps (40 - 50) can make a fair difference to your OC of maybe 100MHz or more

That cooler master I mentioned is the cheapest (not Inc the Freezer) and best cooler of all mentioned so far :)

Going by the FrostyTech review it is ranked 3rd of over 100 coolers they have ever tested!!!

and that is with only one fan - it comes with mounting brackets to attach a 2nd 120mm fan for a very effective push pull config.

the standard blue LED fan is stuck at 2000rpm and is relatively quiet for shoving through 69.69 CFM, but I have a controller to drop mine when I get it for silent running

I got the Scythe Mine Rev B. Q6600 @3.0 Temps at normal load is 35 - 40 on the cores, whilst converting video files I saw them rise to about 55. i haven't done any stress tests with specific stress tools. The cooler is quiet. Read somewhere that due to the fan position you would have to add some cooling for the Chips at the base around the CPU socket, I think that was mentioned for the heavier overclockers
