IMO, with your power supply, the pro version is going to stand a much better chance of working and remaining stable, than the gt version. Your power supply looks like it has been matched to that mx440 (i have no idea how that card ended up in there). But unfortunately, you are limited to a narrow band of graphics cards that can be powered by 350w. Based on what i've read, the power requirements of those GT and PRO cards is very different in the AGP variety. If you go GT, i would be concerned that you will need to spend much much more money on a power supply. Pro, MIGHT work.

I think you have your NVidia confused with your ATi. ATi's naming scheme goes like this in terms of performance: XTX > XT > Pro > GT. If anything the GTwould be the one to work.

Yes you're absolutely correct. I was thinking XT not GT. I didnt even know they released a "GT" version for AGP. So ya, forget my whole post. It was in reference to the difference between the pro and the xt.

My bad :\

Hi, tanks for the help. I must buy the pro or gt? Now i'm confused...yes, there is the gt version:

GT version: http://www.sapphiretech.com/us/pro [...] =175&grp=2

pro version:
http://www.sapphiretech.com/us/pro [...] =168&grp=2

my psu is a real 350 watts , 12v1 + 12v = 25Ampére. so, for that they said, i must buy the gt version?????????

350w is pushing it a bit.
Having said that, I'm not sure the few MHz difference between the GT and PRO will make much difference.

I'd get the PRO, and if you get crashing during games, invest in a PSU...

I have nothing witty to say.

For arguments sake, the nVidia 79x0 series uses less power than the competing X19x0 products.

Yeah, but isn't the AGP 7900 GT way overpriced?

But if that saves the cost of a new PSU, it may be worth it.
