More Information

I'm looking into buying a Intel Q6600 GO with Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R. I do a lot of Photoshop/web design and 3D Studio /Maya rendering.

I'm looking for 4GB of RAM. Either 4-1GB or 2-GB, from what I have read 2-2GB is the better way to go.

I want to overclock my CPU to roughly 3.0GHz, so PC-6400 RAM should be fine as the RAM won't be overclocked unless it can be.

I can currently get these RAM modules and need to pick on of them.

G.SKILL F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ PC2-8000 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1000 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit $229.99
or
Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB 2X2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL5-5-5-12 EPP Dual Channel Memory Kit $247.63

Which modules should I buy? (also I will probably upgrade to 8GB in the next year) (running Vista64bit / XP 64bit)

Suggestions?

Thanks

I have the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L and I got 4x1 gig Patriot Extreme Performance @ 4-4-4-12 with my E2180 OC and my mem is slightly OC @ 825. Assuming we have the same name boards and closely related chipsets I say go for the patriot mem.

***edit***
Also for prices I would like to mention I paid $91 for each pair 2x1GB. Not only that I got a $40 dollar rebate for each bringing the price to about $100 for 4gigs. But I know its not the 2x2GB setup you want, but figured I throw it in there.
