I haven't seen any benchmarks, but like previous increases in cache sizes, it depends if you are moving large files back and forth often.

I concur.

As CompTIA said, it depends on the filesize, but I think the difference between 8mb vs. 16mb cache was like 2-3% increase in performance on average. So, meh.

It's not anything worth paying a fat premium for, more so just a natural progression of things.
