Quick question about Intel® GMA 950 onboard graphics for a Toshiba Tecra A8.

It lists max resolution as 1280 x 800 for its screen. Intel lists max resolution for GMA 950 as 2048x1536 for both digital and analog displays. Intel site http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/gma950/

I need to know what is the maximum resolution supported for an external monitor, connected with VGA (thats what the notebook has as an output)?

More info: This is for my sister who lives in Saipan and is getting the laptop from a school district. She wants to order the external monitor before she actually gets the laptop so she asked me if I could find out if this would work. I don't have access to it to run tests but if that is the only way --- I'll pass on the information. Thanks all for the help. :hello:
