Would a corsair 520hx be enough or not?

Test 1)
Q6600
4GB G.skill 800mhz
8800 gtx
apevia x cruiser
GA-P35-DS3R LGA

Test 2)
Changing the CPU to E6750

Know id also like to know if the apevia x cruiser can hold a 8800 gtx?

FYI, all the reviews of the 450w Corsair can power any single GPU system. This is not suggesting you should drop down. Rather I'm just pointing out that the 520w will have some headroom.

Headroom shouldn't be overlooked. You wouldn't want to upgrade the psu when you do other parts. I'm sure I'll never use up 1000w, but I have plenty of headroom for upgrades. Any.

And if NASA ever need to jump start one of their shuttles, you'll be able to oblige.

A QX6850 quad-core with an OCed 8800 Ultra, with tons of CD drives and USB devices attached won't even hit 440W at 100% peak output.

You have more than enough headroom.

But as soon as you SLI of course, you need a 600W PSU because the peak power usage will be nearly 560W.
