Cd/DVD driver problem

Hello,
I've experienced in xp that cd/dvd driver by message below:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

uninstall the existing driver from device manager & restart the machine..it will load drivers by default..
