My Build, lost on MB, P35 or 680i

Ok, I have purchased the following items but can not decide on a MB or cpu cooler.

1) Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570 Case, $149.00

2) Enermax Infiniti 720, $179.00

3) Intel Core 2 E6850, $299.00

4) WD Caviar SE16 500, $109.00

5)Litespeed optical drive, $39.00

Undecided on what chipset to go with, 680i or P35. I plan to purchase a EVGA 8800 GTX, but do not think I will go SLI.

If I do not go SLI which chipset is best to go with for OC and ease of use ?

I like the ABIT IP35 Pro at 209 and the Gigabyte P35 DQ6.

I also like the EVGA 122-ck-NF68-A1 with 680i chip.

No real thought on the CPU cooler or RAM

You need to work out if you are going SLI.

If you are not going SLI get the GigaP35 DQ6

If you are get the 680i... The XFX board is sposed to be ok also.

If you are OCing alot get a 1066 RAM chip i got some patriot 1066 good timing price aint bad on it either.

CPU cooler the 120mm fan is the go i think thermaltake and thermalright make the ones you want not sure though someone else will know this.

go for SLI if u play @ 1920x1200 or higher

Ok not going SLI. Undecided on the chipset, P35 or 680i. Leaning towards P35 Abit P35 Pro or the Gigabyte DQ6. OC and ease of use is what I am looking for in MB.

Unsure on Ram but most likly be 2gig of DDR2 800.

My buddies are pushing me to Vista 32 for DX10 and just the future. This is a gaming rig also.

Go the P35 then, or even if you arent in a rush look atthe X38

Vista is getting to be closer to the way to go SP1 is apparently around the corner and DX10 will only get better.

If I go with the ABIT P35 Pro what is a good CPU cooler for OC. Case is Gigabyte Aurora Full Tower, CPU is E6850.
