8800GTS fan speed

I notice this card runs pretty hot and I have seen some suggestions to have the fan speed manually set at 100% using 2ndary software. Is this bad for the longevity of the card?

what is the temp of your GPU ?

for my 8800GTX, i set it to 100% when i am going to do gaming otherwise its %80 most of the time

My 8800GTS320MB runs 58C idle and around 79C under load. The rest of the case is pretty well cooled and I have lots of air flow (4 case fans and a pci slot fan).

yeah thats normal (but my 8800gtx is cooler :d )
